The African Drum
Bang boom tap,
The sound of the drums
As u hear it
Bang boom tap
Jus' like a giant stepping along the gravel
Bang boom tap
Don't think of it as the drum played with the sticks,
Cus' it's not!
In the form of a Congo it would be played quick,
Bada Bing bada bang.
But no matter what form it is,
It will always be,
A rhythm,
A beat,
A poem,
A story,
A song,
An African drum.
So I'm here to tell u,
That is you listen and stay quiet,
You can hear, the African drum
Bang boom tap
Bang boom tap.
