One day… He shall open his gates
("Love: a deep feeling of affection towards a person")
My definition of love,
Is simply, the man above.
When my friends leave me hangin
the Lord's up there watchin;
He knows that I'm hurtin
but He tells me "keep waitin."
"..for I know the plans I have for you"
yes…this is true
Surely some day, I will feel no more achin'
But I must keep the prayin
'till this day I still wait
For him to open His gates;
Where there'll be no more pain,
And I will "be not afraid".
However, I must remain patient
As I continue this journey.
For one of these days,
(and not in a hurry)
He will open those gates
And all of these worries,
And all of these aches
Shall ALL be ERASED
