Medicine Man Remedy

What ailments, these aches
Pains of life, inducing death
Thieves, treacherous robbers
Trying to capture my last breath

I chant an ancient chant
As my feet make root on sacred ground
My indigenous spirit can't be broken
Time to release, what once was bound

Medicine man I seek thy remedy
By natural laws you do abide
Western man's ways corrode my flesh
With ignorance they attempt to kill my pride

With feathers and fury I stand unbroken
Forgotten ancestral images are enlarged
The tribal council has reached a verdict
Western man's philosophy, guilty as charged
