dont believe in paradise
dont believe in love at first sight
dont believe in forever
no misconception
dont make light of
perceive the perception
one need not be clever
of what it really is
forget about what you thought
nothing but barren promises
"but, baby if you just let me... "
nigga please, stop playing
show what it is you're trying to be
no time for regurgitated words
and recycled conversation
get to the point
of your final destination
less we begin to shift
and drift into
an unconscious state
of rest less ness
