The problem with life is the way that it moves
Upward and downward in motion of two's
From pleasure to pain and then back again
The cycle of lifetime as with oxygen
The moment we feel we have received it all
Is the intro to new scenarios fall
How can we balance, how can we hold
When turbulent waters splash in our souls?
We love when we fell when pleasures involved
And love to be numb when it has withdrawn
Pride is our thoughts as if there were not so
Seeming to rise far above heavens glow
But only when we embrace what makes life
Do we understand the peace ad the strife
So upward to pleasure and downward to pain
Chanting and screaming and laughing away
