Weather Forecast

water quenching unparched throats
        shall we boast?
        shall we boast?

yellow-taupe rimmed in gray-
navy, abiding in the misty
midst is a halo
submerged in cerulean
blue, blowing whispers
of nothingness,
tears of hope, submission;
eyes wide open
in malice
blazing like Cali wildfires,
black like forests
scared, parched in hunger

mosquitoes chasing; the light
like fake power
controlling gnats
flying to moonlaughs. liquor
on breathes stagnant
with sour sweetness
like dead pools

        shall we toast?
        shall we toast?

situations
demand a wheeze,
a misty daze, a midnight festival, falsetto
jazz - weather forecast: snow yellow,
stagnant
