Domestic Dispute
Mother Nature ran amock through the streets.
For hours she cried cats and dogs,
demolishing all in sight.
Nothing stood after the dust settled.
She scorched the skies with leadened cloud.
A sullen atmosphere hovered over the land.
There was weeping and gnashing of teeth.
What could drive such a sweet loving mother
to such acts of ungodly violence?
Destroying loved ones, even her glorious
creation in the process…
Turns out, she caught father time in bed
with another. She caught him cheating with
lady liberty. So she blew her down to rubble,
destroying all who believed in her
and her doctrines.
Now we all live in complete anarchy,
afraid to love and be loved
due to the lessons learned by a domestic dispute.
